1. Testing the baseline For EPDM installation, to properly schedule the paving workload, boundary lines are measured and marked on the substrate according to the established plan. The entire site is divided into strips and blocks, which are then paved sequentially.

1. Test baseline

EPDM Installation: To optimize the paving workload, boundary lines are surveyed and marked on the base according to the established plan. The entire site is divided into strips and blocks, which are then paved in sequence.

2. Basic Drawing

After the foundation has passed inspection, to enhance adhesion between the foundation and the surface material, a mixed solution is prepared on the foundation by blending a specified proportion of special adhesive with a thinner. This solution is then evenly applied using a roller brush, and once dry, the base-layer granules are laid down.

3. Substrate Paving

To properly schedule the paving workload, boundary lines are measured and marked on the existing surface according to the established plan, dividing the entire site into strips and sections before proceeding with strip-by-strip, section-by-section paving.

4. Surface Layer Paving

EPDM construction rubber granules are mixed with a specialized adhesive in a specified ratio and thoroughly blended within the mixing zone using appropriate equipment. The material should be conveyed to the pre‑marked boundaries via a feeding cart, spread with a screed, and compacted using a roller. Pay close attention to compaction density, surface smoothness, and thickness, and perform repeated rolling passes. After curing for two to three hours, re‑compact with the roller and lightly tap any uneven areas with a trowel. For instance, use a trowel and roller to bond the granules, applying a small amount of thinner to achieve a smooth finish.

5. Measurement of Marking Lines

Mark the flight paths and runways as required. The markings shall be re‑inspected by a qualified road‑marking contractor. Straight sections shall be re‑checked using certified steel tapes. Once compliance with the standards has been confirmed, painting may proceed in accordance with the prescribed markings.

Colored EPDM granules for EPDM flooring are suitable for all-weather applications.

Because the wear‑resistant surface layer of the composite spray‑applied plastic track is formulated with a mixed slurry of EPDM rubber granules and surface polyurethane, which is thoroughly blended and then sprayed onto the composite elastic base, the EPDM rubber granules are encapsulated within the polyurethane slurry. As a result, the solid particle characteristics of the sprayed granules are significantly superior to those of conventional spray‑applied granules.

The adhesion of the polyurethane elastic layer exhibits physical properties comparable to those of similar products, and it is resistant to delamination during use. Compared with traditional plastic running tracks, plastic tracks are easier and more convenient to keep clean.

EPDM‑based colored granule synthetic running tracks are suitable for use under conditions that ensure adequate drainage. These synthetic tracks are intended for physical training, competitions, and students’ recreational and fitness activities, but are not appropriate for other purposes.

1. Prevent contamination by harmful substances, maintain regular cleanliness, and avoid severe mechanical impacts and friction. Vehicles must not be driven on the track, nor should heavy or sharp objects be stacked there (except for standard running shoes).

2. Athletes must wear special antistatic shoes. The length of spikes may not exceed 7 mm, and the length of jumping shoes may not exceed 11 mm. If fixed cleats are equipped with long spikes, such footwear is prohibited on synthetic tracks.
