Guizhou Tourism Development Conference — Getu River Climbing Town

The Tourism Development Conference has become a key mechanism for Guizhou Province to integrate resources from all sectors, driving accelerated progress in the host regions across infrastructure, ecological environment, hospitality services, and tourism industry development. It has also emerged as an important platform for aligning provincial-level perspectives on tourism development, enhancing the enabling environment for tourism, boosting its international and domestic visibility, and catalyzing the growth of the province’s tourism sector as well as its broader economic and social development.
As a sub-project of the Guizhou Tourism Development Conference, Funmaxland’s Gechu River Climbing Town was meticulously planned, manufactured, constructed, installed, and inspected by Beijing Funmaxland. The entire project was completed in just 40 days, successfully fulfilling the task entrusted to us by the scenic area.
Next, we will use drawings and real-life photos to recreate our entire workflow, hereby documenting every step of the Funmaxland team.

I. Site Inspection

We conducted a thorough assessment of the original site. Based on the scenic area’s requirements—namely, to create a non-motorized, adventure-themed climbing town that highlights the town’s unique character—Funmaxland began designing in alignment with these needs.

II. Design Phase

Based on our on-site assessment and the scenic area’s requirements, we developed a preliminary design. Through ongoing collaboration with the scenic‑area management, we refined the plan to ensure it is both practical and visually appealing, ultimately producing detailed design drawings and renderings.
